This is the Katlyn Stevens Digital 2021 Social Media Holiday Calendar! The planing doesn’t stop in the digital marketing world so I created this Social Media Holiday Guide to take the planing off your plate! Social media is a fast-paced, ever changing industry. As marketers and content creators we are constantly striving to keep up with the latest trends in order to be on top of our game. With all this change it can feel like there's no time or energy for anything else! But creating engaging posts doesn't stop just because you're running out of steam - that's why I created my Social Media Holiday Guide so you don’t have to plan your social strategy by yourself. It includes important dates from now until December 2021, which means plenty of time for crafting quality content while staying ahead of the curve!
Be sure to keep in mind that your online presence is an extension of your business and should always be tailored to best represent you/the brand. It's important that the holidays and key moments that you choose to honor, whether they are national or social media related, reflect the brand that they are being posted for. While it can be tempting to post about every holiday in sight on behalf of your clients' brands—especially when so many people now use them for advertising purposes- this strategy has its drawbacks. Forced posts are never a good look and especially for brand accounts. People are looking for authenticity from brands in the digital space, so it is important to continue building that trust and real relationships with your followers even when posting about social media holidays.
