Atlanta United FC | Social Media Coordinator
From 2016-2018 I was responsible for managing all @ATLUTD social channels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with the goal of creating exclusive, engaging, and sharable content for fans and future fans.
I played a major role in developing the clubs digital presence and bringing the club to the top of the league in all social media KPI’s.
Key Moments
I planned all content and social execution of key moments for Atlanta United. From kit launches to player announcements, it was my responsibility to create our plan of execution which involved writing all copy, creating the schedule for to posts and choosing appropriate creative assets. In addition to this, it was important for me to recognize key social moments for the club - from a big win in LA to a significant album drop, I made sure @ATLUTD had relevant content that was at the forefront of social trends.
Match & Travel Coverage
It was my duty to provide all on-field/behind-the-scenes social coverage at Atlanta United home and away matches along with influencer related content.
I traveled with the team on a week-to-week basis and provided exclusive access to our followers through all of our social accounts, while also serving as a photographer. This included travel, pre-match, live match coverage and also post-match coverage. I would do everything from live-tweeting, to Instagram/Snapchat stories, to obligated sponsored content.
I was also tasked with working with our video and photo team to create and ideate assets for all posts that we had planned on social - from the day of or months in advanced. This included engaging GIF's, quick turned videos during live coverage and any other content I could foresee being a top performer on our channels.
Atlanta United Acquires Darlington Nagbe
I created the 7-day content plan surrounding the announcement of ATL UTD buying Darlington Nagbe. This execution plan included that announcement across all social channels, coverage of the trip on a private jet to bring Darlington to Atlanta, Meet and Greet at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with Atlanta United Fans, and Nagbe's first tour of the ATL UTD Training Ground. I was present during Darlington's entire visit to Atlanta along with the trip on the jet to pick him up and I was responsible for all content going out on social to bring our followers on his journey.

"King Peach" Kit Launch
Atlanta United launched it's 2018 secondary kit, "King Peach", and I created the content plan around this launch. The kit was launched as a surprise at an open training event so the plan consisted of both coverage of the training as well as the release of the club’s 3rd jersey in history. It was very important to tell the story of the kit and engage as many people as possible to leverage this moment and channel the excitement into sales.
